Hi our names are Kaitlynn, Kellie, Carina, and Meghan. We started this GoFundMe for a very dear friend and her family. Julie lives in Harlingen, TX. She is a Teacher’s Assistant at a local elementary school and just recently graduated college. She lives with her husband, two young children, and two cats. Harlingen has experienced significant flooding and, as a result, they have lost everything. Their home has flooded, and they are currently centered in one of the only rooms still above water, but it won’t be long before that, too, has submerged. Everything they had will be gone or significantly damaged. Their home was not up to standards to withstand floodwaters, and at any moment, they are expecting their roof to collapse. They do not currently have the ability to leave; there is nowhere for them to go, and they are physically unable to get out of their home. They do not have the funds to find alternate living and expenses to replace all they have lost. We are asking for donations to help them cover clothing, food, and shelter as they leave with nothing.
