Marty & Libbi's Skydive for JPC Community Farm
Hello everyone!
My daughter Libbi and I are doing a 15,000ft Skydive this September to raise funds for JPC Community Farm, a local charity supporting people with special and complex needs across Teesside and North Yorkshire. The charity was set up by a family who wanted a better future for their severely disabled son and others like him. They have already created a magical place where people with special needs can learn new skills, have fun and develop a real sense of meaning in their lives.
We want to raise as much money as possible to make the facility the best it can be in a short space of time. Our aim is to raise £5,000 for the charity, and jumping out of a plane at 15,000ft seems like a good start!
We’re raising funds for JPC Community Farm as what they do is close to my heart. I have a niece who has special needs who could really benefit from attending their amazing facility. During a recent visit to their premises, I was blown away by the nature of what Paul (the charity’s co-founder and Chief Executive) and the team are doing, and what they have all achieved in a short space of time. From my discussions with Paul, I know that the more funds that are raised the quicker the reality of their vision will be achieved. I also took my niece along with me when I visited and she had a great time there during our tour.
I met Paul during their recent Smiles for Miles motorsports event at Croft Racing Circuit. Talking to Paul on the pit wall, we developed a real and instant connection, and I could instantly tell that he has a passion for this much-needed local facility. My wife also works with SEN pupils at Fairfield Primary School and I know that the pupils there would benefit from day visits when the Care Farm element of Paul’s vision is realized.
Thank you in advance for your generous support for this wonderful local cause.
