Raquel Aguilera "La Burrito Lady"

Meet Raquel, AKA the Burrito Lady, this humble 65 year old woman of God who has also been called the Mother Teresa of Albuquerque, puts in many hours to prepare and serve approximately 400 homeless each and every week.  Not only is she preparing and servig food from 6:00 am to 6pm on Sunday, she takes the time to collect donated food items throughout the week to feed those who are less fortunate.  Raquel's typical menu varies from BBQ Chicken, soup, enchiladas, taquitos, etc. mashed potatoes, rice, beans, fresh fruit, dessert, and a drink.  Or a huge burrito with a drink and dessert.  Not only are these meals distributed to the homeless at several locations in Albuquerque, she also packages special warm meals for several veterans in the VA program.  Raquel not only provides a hot meal, a warm hug, and prayer to those that she lovingly refers to as "her babies."  She is currently in a crisis situation and is in need of a facility near the ABQ downtown area to prepare food.  Please prayerfully consider contributing to this ministry.
