As you may or may not know, 1st Wythenshawe Scout Group have just acquired our own building which will become our scout hut, and now we need your help to make our house into a home!

The building has been empty a number of years and suffered significant damage, including a pretty big leak, so we now need to get it all fixed up ready for our scouts to be able to use safely.

On Sunday 17th August our scouts did an amazing sponsored walk from Sale Water Park to Chorlton Water Park & back. Some even in fancy dress! Their little legs did brilliantly.

Two of our leaders, Phil (Bagheera) & Nick (Growler), are now embarking on a sponsored cycle!

They will be cycling from Lymm ranger station to Southport on the Trans Pennine trail.

They have found some old mountain bikes to do it and are in peak physical fitness themselves(!) so if anyone would like to donate a quid or two in sympathy for them it would be greatly appreciated!
