Ranjit Singh Chahal

On December 28th, 2020, a long time friend, Ranjit Singh Chahal (aged 53) was walking home on the side of the road, he was tragically hit by a car, then hit by another vehicle and sadly he died on the spot. He is survived by his wife and two young children. We all know how tough it is to lose a loved one, but to also be affected financially can be very difficult. Unfortunately, he did not have a life insurance. The family really needs our community support at this devastating time. The fundraiser will help to pay off their home mortgage and some other expenses. Mainly the support given will help to sustain their living situation.

Most of us know Ranjit as Ghuggi. He was a honest, hard working individual. Ghuggi was a family oriented person, a loving father and husband. Over the years, he supported our community events such as kabaddi tournaments and religious events.

2020 was a tough year for all us filled with uncertain events and we were all hoping for positive changes in 2021. Like many of us, I am sure Ranjit and his family also had expectations and dreams for this new year, which sadly ended for them with him suddenly passing away. 

All the funds collected, will be given to his wife, Manpreet Kaur Chahal and his children. We are overwhelmed by the support shown so far and can't thank you all enough for helping this family during this tough time. Please consider donating if you are able to do so.
