It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Ray Regalado. His last name translated in english signifies gifted , and that’s exactly what god has received with Ray , an angel as a GIFT. Ray was the screw that held his family together, the community together, served the city of Jersey City with pride and joy until the time of his dearly departure . A retired Detective for the JCPD. For those who knew Ray, words are not enough to describe his personality and compassion towards people . Ray took his shirt off his own back to give it to someone in need . Ray always had a glowing smile to go along with a great advice. Ray will be missed very dearly by his family and friends . Ray leaves behind his wife and kids, and through these tough times, as we know Ray became gods gift and is watching us from above, we want to assure him we also got his back like he did with many. There is no specific monetary goal in all reality , the actual goal is to show Ray we will be there for his family during these unprecedented times .
