Ramah Cycling Challenge for Cycling Without Age

It’s that time of the year again when we set ourselves the challenge of riding for a reason … taking our annual cycling challenge to new heights for a great cause!

What are we doing?

On Saturday the 30th of September we will be heading to Ramah Ave (made famous at the 2022 Cycling World Championships) with the goal to ride as many laps as possible.

Josh is aiming to complete an Everest which is roughly equivalent to 100 laps of the hill (or 8848m of climbing)!!

In addition to reliving the energy and excitement we enjoyed on Ramah last September, as cycling enthusiasts in all its forms, we are passionate about making cycling accessible for as many people in the community as possible. That’s why we are raising funds for Cycling Without Age Illawarra.

What is Cycling Without Age Illawarra?

Cycling Without Age is a global charity that gives FREE ebike Trishaw rides to the elderly, infirm, and people with disabilities. Piloted by trained volunteer cyclists the aim is to reduce social isolation and loneliness within the community by providing regular opportunities to enjoy the outdoors and feel the wind in one's hair.

All donations will help to cover the cost of purchasing the eBike Trishaw, storage, and equipment, helping to bring this wonderful opportunity to life here in the Illawarra.

We are inviting friends and community to come join in the fun on the day and set your own participation goal. Whether it is riding 10 laps of Ramah, walking 1 lap or supporting from the snacks station, we would love to have you part of the day.
