This Ramadan, I am once again raising funds for a charity that I have been working with closely - Join To Serve (JTS).

I have been working with JTS for the past three years, and this year marks my fourth Ramadan supporting their initiatives.

Who are Join To Serve (JTS)?

Join To Serve (JTS) is a volunteer-led charity made up largely of student doctors and young professionals who are dedicated to serving vulnerable communities.

Their work goes far beyond Ramadan. Throughout the year, JTS:

• Supports families facing hardship

• Organises medical and welfare initiatives

• Distributes essential supplies

• Runs community outreach projects

• Responds to urgent needs where support is required most

Ramadan is just one of the many ways they serve but it is a particularly powerful time, as the need increases and the reward is multiplied.

This campaign specifically supports Ramadan food pack distributions in Pakistan.

The funds raised will go directly towards purchasing and distributing essential ration packs, including items such as:

• Flour

• Rice

• Lentils

• Oil

• Sugar

• Tea

• Other staple groceries

These packs help families observe Ramadan with dignity, allowing them to focus on worship instead of worrying about how they will feed their children.

Allah says in the Qur’an:

“The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed that grows seven ears; in every ear is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies for whom He wills.”

— Surah Al-Baqarah (2:261)

And the Prophet ﷺ said:

“The best charity is that given in Ramadan.”

This year, we aim to help support hundreds of families in Pakistan.

No amount is too small. Even the smallest contribution can make a real difference.
