During the blessed month of Ramadan, Darul Ilm Birmingham is honoured to host daily iftar for the community for all 30 days of Ramadan. Each evening, fasting individuals come together in the house of Allah to break their fast, including vulnerable members of our community who may not have regular access to food. For many, this iftar may be their only hot meal of the day during Ramadan.

This initiative is not only a means of communal worship, but also a vital source of support for those facing hardship, loneliness, or financial difficulty.

To continue providing this essential service, we are seeking your generous support. The cost to sponsor one day of iftar is £100, which will provide meals for all attendees on that day. You can choose to sponsor a single day or donate any amount you are able, no matter how small every contribution makes a meaningful difference.

The reward for feeding others in Ramadan is immense. The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Whoever gives iftar to a fasting person will have a reward like that of the fasting person, without that detracting from the reward of the fasting person in the slightest.”

(Tirmidhī)
