John, my brother-in-law, is suffering from pancreatic cancer. I am creating this GoFundMe for the Prexta Family because I love them so much and they are going through a super difficult time in their lives. The reason for this GoFundMe is outlined here...

The Prexta Family sends their love out to all who have asked how they can help them as they navigate the most unpleasant time in their lives. John was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last January and has been fighting it ever since. He has endured multiple rounds of chemo and various other treatments in the last year. Sadly, at this point his body has succumbed to the disease and he is in the final phase of his battle.

During this time they have created a circle of love around themselves and it has enabled them to enjoy many happy moments together over the past year. If you know Krista and John and their kids, you know how full of life and silly and fun-loving they all are.

In early November, John found that he no longer had the stamina to continue working and has been home ever since. Knowing what was ahead of them, all of the kids (Grace, Amelia, Andrew, and Charlie) moved home so they could spend as much time together as possible. They are soaking up every moment together; sometimes laughing and sometimes crying, but appreciating every day as a family.

Without John’s salary and with compounding medical bills, it has become a challenge for the family to keep up with expenses. If you would like to help Krista, John, Grace, Amelia, Andrew, and Charlie by donating to this GoFundMe, it would help them immensely.
