Rally for Betty, Vanessa, and Isabella
Donation protected
It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating loss of Juan Hernandez, a beloved member of the Tustin Girls Softball family.
Juan had been bravely battling liver disease for some time, and after a recent hospitalization for pneumonia, he became septic. What we initially hoped would be a brief stay in the hospital, quickly turned into an unbelievable and heartbreaking tragedy.
Juan leaves behind his wife, Betty, their adult son, JR and his partner Maria, adult son Adrian and his partner Mayra, two grandchildren, Koa and Juni, and their two daughters, Vanessa and Isabella.
Oldest daughter Vanessa, has graduated from our program and now plays for Segerstrom High and the Batbusters (Morales) organization, while Bella, Juan's baby and daddy's girl, is currently in our 12U division. Both girls have played with us since they were babies and we’ve watched them grow up into incredible young ladies.
Known for his tough exterior, Juan was a softie at heart, especially when it came to his girls. Juan was a constant presence at TGS games. You would always find him sitting in the outfield, quietly supporting his daughters and their teammates.
Now, we ask you to rally around this grieving family, who has been a part of the fabric of TGS for so long. Please consider donating to help support Betty, Vanessa, and Isabella during this incredibly difficult time. Your generosity will provide them with some much needed relief as they navigate through their loss. Any contribution, big or small, will make a difference to them.
On behalf of Tustin Girls Softball and the Hernandez family, we are grateful for your support.
