Rally for the Alley Bishopstown GAA Fundraiser

We want to thank everyone who donated so generously to the Rally for the Alley.

The funding from this Go Fund Me Page has now been transferred to the overall fund and we will be starting on the upgrading of the Ball Alley soon.

We are a group of parents and coaches from Bishopstown GAA club who have come together to fundraise to undertake essential renovations aimed at maximizing the usability and appeal of the Ball Alley in our Club.

The Ball Alley is an amazing facility to have in our club for both hurling and football, but it needs a facelift to maximize its usage for all boys and girls across the club. It is currently looking derelict and is not a place boys and girls want to go to practice. It is hoped that the upgrade would include:

1. comprehensive cleaning of the walls of the ball alley

2. power washing/cleaning of the floor slab of the alley

3. installation of artificial grass surface over 234m2 area (include pitch lines across surface for

zone/tactics training – TBA)

4. evaluation of drainage requirements to suit the new surfacing

5. repair/replacement of netting above the ball alley

6. painting of the walls of the alley

7. upgrade of lighting and local control system

8. placement of targets and club logo on the walls of the ball alle

Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in our efforts to provide a top-notch sporting facility for the youth in our area.
