Our sweet co-worker and friend, Achlei, and her hardworking partner, Bryant, recently welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Rylei, much earlier than expected. At just 32 weeks, little Rylei made her entrance into the world weighing 3 lbs 10 oz and stretching 16 ¾ inches long. Though tiny, she is a little fighter, already showing incredible strength and doing fabulous in her early days of life. Due to her early arrival, she will have to stay in the NICU for at least a month.

Many of you know Achlei as a dedicated swim instructor and a huge asset at Sharkie’s Swim Academy. She gives her heart to her students and coworkers every day, and now it’s our turn to give back to her and her family.

Due to complications with preeclampsia, her maternity leave began sooner than planned. Maternity leave will only cover 33% of her pay. On top of that, her baby shower had to be postponed because of Rylei’s early arrival, leaving her and Bryant with unexpected expenses while they focus on caring for their little fighter.
