I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart to share that my dear friends, Leila and Scott, are facing one of the scariest challenges a parent can endure. What started as a routine visit to the doctor for their 11-year-old son, Owen, has turned into an unexpected and harrowing journey.

Last night, Owen underwent brain surgery and an MRI, and he is currently in the ICU at CHKD. We are all hopeful that the upcoming MRI will provide answers and a clear treatment plan, but the road ahead remains uncertain.

During this incredibly difficult time, Leila and Scott need to focus entirely on Owen’s health and recovery. They shouldn’t have to worry about missing work, artisan events, or the financial burden that comes with being away from their store.
