The Real KVO started with a simple idea:

Communities become stronger when people are informed, ask questions, and participate.

Through satire, humor, interviews, and community storytelling, we've worked to encourage civic engagement while reminding people that local government matters.

Unfortunately, exercising free speech hasn't come without a cost.

We are currently defending ourselves in a lawsuit that has already required us to spend nearly $10,000 out of pocket in legal expenses. While we've made tremendous progress, the fight isn't over.
