Rally for Nicole's Recovery Journey
Donation protected
Hello. For those of you that know my wife, Nicole Kline, you may know this story. But for those that don't, she had a severe stroke on November 16th, in her right hemisphere of her brain. On November 17th, she had the life-saving procedure of a craniectomy to remove a portion of her skull to release pressure from her brain swelling and to save her life. The procedure was a success and she has had a long journey since then but has returned home and is currently in therapy to try and regain movement in her paralyzed left side.
Yesterday we were informed that for her follow-up procedure to replace the newly fabricated piece of skull, which is a cranioplasty and will involve extensive procedures including a plastic surgeon, will cost us $4500 out of pocket. Now thank goodness this is all not needed up front. She has, however, been out of work since November and has just recently been moved to long-term disability, which is just a fraction of her original salary.
I have put off this. I wanted to make things work on my own. Everyone has helped us so much already. And I love and appreciate all of you that have assisted, donated before, stopped by, called, texted, everything.
But we need help. If you can donate, please do. If you can pray for her and what she is about to go through, please pray. If you can share this for her, please share.
Thank you all
