<div>Nicole has been home since late April and been back in physical therapy since the end of May.   We now have a much better picture of her current progress and needs.  with that said, I would like to try and purchase a new powered recliner,  powered bed frame for the bed room and she also has on order a custom brace for her left leg to help assist with therapy and her mobility in the future.

<div>I pray that we can get more financial stability here in the future, and this will be the last time I ever in my life need to ask for this sort of assistance.  Thank you to all of you who have followed along in this journey

<div>Hello. For those of you that know my wife, Nicole Kline, you may know this story. But for those that don't, <strong>she had a severe stroke on November 16th, in her right hemisphere of her brain.</strong> On November 17th, she had the life-saving procedure of a craniectomy to remove a portion of her skull to release pressure from her brain swelling and to save her life. The procedure was a success and she has had a long journey since then but has returned home and is currently in therapy to try and regain movement in her paralyzed left side.

<div>Yesterday we were informed that for her follow-up procedure to replace the newly fabricated piece of skull, which is a cranioplasty and will involve extensive procedures including a plastic surgeon, <strong>will cost us $4500 out of pocket.</strong> Now thank goodness this is all not needed up front. She has, however, been out of work since November and has just recently been moved to long-term disability, which is just a fraction of her original salary.

<div>I have put off this. I wanted to make things work on my own. Everyone has helped us so much already. And I love and appreciate all of you that have assisted, donated before, stopped by, called, texted, everything.
