Rally for Natalie: Accident Recovery Fund
Donation protected
update 2/19/25
Thank you all for your continued prayers and your much appreciated donations! Natalie is still suffering from her concussion and her leg is painful of course. She is scheduled next week for another CT scan on her head because the headaches are still very bad and an X-ray on her leg to ensure it is healing properly. The new pictures are from Valentine’s Day and she is progressing well- thank you again for your prayers!
Hello, my granddaughter was hit by a car on Sunday, 2/2/2025, just after 5 PM in broad daylight across from her home. She was on her bicycle, and as the car hit her, she was thrown on the hood and into the windshield and thrown 15-20 feet. Her cousin and her mother witnessed this happen before their eyes. Not sure why the driver did not see her. Natalie was rushed to the trauma center as she had a compound fracture of her right leg, a concussion, and many other bruises on her arms, her entire left knee, and of course, the bruising around her ear and neck. After the trauma center had her bleeding under control, she was transported to Wolfson Children's Hospital so she could be prepped for surgery on her right leg. She ended up with 2 plates in her leg and knee, and we hope that she will be able to walk in a month.
Her parents, my daughter Rebecca and our son-in-law Ariel, had been staying with her day and night till she finally was discharged last weekend. She is attending Physical Therapy and has a bed, walker, and wheelchair now. Needless to say, with no work and a family of 6 (3 sons as well), they are in dire need of help. They have had expenses for prescriptions and co-pays, and the hospital bill has yet to come. The driver was not arrested, and no word yet if anything from her auto insurance. Anything you can give would be a blessing to this family. I thank you in advance, and God bless you!
