Support For Ms. Karin During Her Fight Against Cancer

Miss Karin Collins is a preschool teacher at Weston Elementary School in Manchester, NH. She has been shaping the lives of young children for 16 years and has been at Weston Elementary for the past 9 years. She is the proud mother of 3 beautifully grown children, Sydney, Elizabeth and Grace, as well as a newly appointed grandmother to two beautiful baby girls, Elaina and Maeve. Miss Karin is a proud wife to her loving and supportive husband Jeff.

Unfortunately, this past November, Miss Karin was diagnosed with Skin Cancer. She has undergone many doctors appointments and surgeries and has begun treatment to rid the Cancer but is now surprised to learn that she also has Uterine Cancer; the stage of which will be determined soon as she undergoes more appointments. As most people know, time is of the essence whenever Cancer is concerned and that is why we are coming together to help!

To know Miss Karin, is to love Miss Karin. She is the most bubbly, young spirited and selfless woman there is. She treats every child like they are her own, which is what any parent hopes for when they send their babies off to school. Whether it’s playing on the playground with her “kids,” acting silly or even visiting a past student in their classroom, she will go above and beyond to put smiles on their faces and make them feel loved and safe.

We know, as much as she will put on a brave face and continue to show up every day focused on teaching and being there for her students (because that’s just who she is,) that she also needs to focus her energy on healing and taking care of herself. Ms. Karin is the last person on Earth who should have to face such trials and tribulations - but we know she is a fighter and will get through this!

We are rallying together to show our love and support for Ms. Karin! We hope to ease at least some of the financial burden associated with this terrible disease by raising money to help, and as cliché as it may sound, any amount helps!
