SUPPORT FOR KODEE HERMANN & FAMILY
Dear Friends and Family,
On Friday, June 6th, Kodee Hermann was hospitalized at Kadlec in Richland with a serious case of dysentery. Despite his strong spirit and determination, Kodee's condition worsened on Wednesday, June 11th, and he was life-flighted to Spokane for critical care.
The infection has produced Shiga toxin, which is causing serious complications. The toxin has damaged the lining of his blood vessels, leading to clotting that is blocking kidney function. As a result, Kodee has become anemic — his red blood cells are trapped in these clots and unable to circulate properly. The next potential risk is his pancreas, which we’re praying the illness does not reach.
Only 10-15% of children with this type of infection experience such severe complications — but if you know Kodee, you know he’s a fighter. His "go big or go home" attitude has carried him through many challenges, and now more than ever, we need that strength.
What We Need Most Right Now:
Prayers for healing: Clean blood, restored kidney function, healthy veins, and full recovery.
Support for the Hermann family as they face unexpected and mounting medical expenses during this incredibly difficult time.
Now is the time to come together. Let’s rally around the Hermanns to lift them up in love, in prayer, and in support. Your generosity, whether it's a donation, a message, or simply sharing their story, will help ease the weight they are carrying.
Every gift, no matter the size, is a step toward hope and healing. Let’s show Kodee and his family just how strong their village is.
Please Consider Donating, Sharing and Praying.
Let’s be the hands and hearts that carry them through.
With deep gratitude,
Kelsie Knight & Michelle Brown
