So my fiancé and I took both our sons in for their yearly appointments and discovered our four year old son Kayson had extremely high blood pressure and has a heart murmur so he was then sent to see a cardiologist to further evaluate him and see what was causing his blood pressure to be so high and they took over 130 pictures of his heart and seen that he has a thinning at the top of his heart also known as Arota stenosis. His heart is working overtime for a four year old trying to pump enough blood past this thinning to the bottom portion of his body. He is scheduled for a CT Scan on August,19th to determine whether they have to go through his back or chest in order to get to the thinning so they can spread it back out to the width it has to be in order for him to not go into kidney failure from not enough blood. His surgery still hasn’t been scheduled yet but as soon as they determine where they can get to his heart faster to operate on his heart the easiest it will be scheduled. He will then have to stay in the hospital for a week then he has a six week recovery period to follow at home. We just recently had a new baby so my fiancé already missed three days of work and I know that may not sound bad but he’s the only one working at the moment and with him already missing three days of work on top of more days for these appointments and soon the surgery we’re falling behind on the bills. I’m a stay at home mom so I have no type of income to help. So we’re trying to raise money for the hotel stay, food, car insurance, bills, and a babysitter for our two youngest children so we can be there for our sweet Kayson. And please don’t feel pressured to donate anything if you don’t have it but please keep our family in your prayers.
