Hello and thank you for taking the time to consider donating. My name is Jenn. I am in need of some help for my mom. She lives in a mobile home that she was blessed to buy after her mother passed. We grew up in apartments and my mom always wanted to have her own home. As luck had it, I knew someone selling their mobile home. It needed a little work but nothing her and my dad couldn't handle. She moved in and everything was great. Fast forward a few years and my dad got sick. He passed fairly quickly. It's been a year and a half now and I noticed some things around her home that need some attention. My dad was always the one to do repairs and with him gone it's up to me and my 2 siblings. We can handle small things for her but their are a few things we can't do and can't afford to do.

The first and most pressing issue is her bathroom. The toilet had a leak that has since rotted the floor. Her toilet is literally sinking. The whole bathroom floor and sub floor will need replaced. And of course she will need a new toilet.

Then I started noticing random spots all over the trailer where there are divots or small sink holes in the floor. It leads me to believe she will need a new floor in the whole trailer. Maybe even insulation under the trailer.

I am hoping to raise enough money to give her that new floor. She deserves it. She has always put us kids and her grandkids first. If I could do it myself I would but the cost of having someone come look at it just to tell us what is needed, is more than we can afford.

Any money left over from the floor would go to the minor things that could use some work. There are a few kitchen cupboards that need replaced and I noticed her dryer is taking longer and longer to dry all the way. It fairly old and so is her washer.

Also her central air has never worked. Thankfully the heat does work. But every summer it gets so hot and stuffy.

I am hoping this will stay a surprise. My mom doesn't like bing the center of attention and she would tell me there are others with more pressing issues. But I'm afraid her toilet I literally going to fall through the floor. I want to help her so badly but I just can't afford it. Please consider helping out my mom. She definitely deserves it.
