Rally for Dena: Continuing Seamus's Love

Seamus Eliason was killed in a motor vehicle accident on July 31st, 2024. He leaves behind his wonderful Life Partner, Dena, and a legacy of determination, incredible work ethic, strong friendships, and love. This man was always there for others. Now is our chance to show up and be there for Dena.

I got to know this couple through their community work in the music scene and at The Cave Collective. When we were building out the new space at The Cave, Dena and Seamus both showed up to help with whatever they could put their hands on. They had been part of the old space, part of building energy toward the new space, part of the woven thread of the whole project.

Seamus gave me his number the first day we met: “Anything I can do, let me know. I’m pretty good with building.” Dena came through time and again to offer free haircuts and styling to our Trans and Enby sibs who wanted affirming care without judgment.

Let’s surround Dena with all the love and support and care that we can right now. These two young ones were not only planning a Forever Future, they had already built a life of Love from day one. Dena, who owns Solitary Beauty, is recovering from recent surgery and will now face the financial hardship of time off work to recover and grieve.

It is so hard when the world loses good ones like Seamus. Let’s do what we can to continue his legacy of Love.
