Rally for Dave: A Compassionate Cause

If you are lucky enough to know Dave Solari, then you know what a kind, giving, selfless person he is. Dave would do anything for his family, his friends, or even a stranger in need. It is time for us to give back to this wonderful man.

Unfortunately, Dave’s truck was in an extremely traumatic accident a few weeks ago. He was not driving it at the time, but a young woman that he thought the world of was the driver and tragically lost her life. The entire Solari (Clark) family is grieving this horrific incident, and as usual, Dave is the glue holding everyone together. It goes without saying that Dave’s truck was completely totaled from the accident. After reconciliation with his insurance, he is left with a minimal amount of money to purchase a new vehicle.

Dave works full-time at GE but also does a great deal of carpentry work on the side. Right now, he is driving a rental car and is unsure what he is going to do as far as purchasing a new truck. He has NO KNOWLEDGE of this effort to raise money for him. As I’m sure you all know, he would be extremely uncomfortable with people rallying around him and giving him the support that he needs and deserves. Dave is a very proud and strong man with too much grace and humility to willingly accept a gift of this magnitude from anyone.

His children, Bethany, Ryan, Abigail, and Aaron, know that though Dave may be uneasy about this mission, they are willing to take the risk and show him the same kind of love and compassion that he has given to all of them.
