My daughter and I are experiencing an extreme financial hardship after the sudden departure of her father. Although it is a relief to feel safer, it has left us in a very tricky position to be in at the very end of the month. It’s a head-spinning moment, and the need has become high enough for us to humbly reach out to our community for help. I’ve applied for every type of assistance available to us; however, more is needed and faster. My goal is to raise 1.5 months' worth of monthly expenses to allow for these programs to kick in and for us to restructure our lives and finances.
