We are a group of local volunteers coming together with a shared belief that theater should belong to everyone. In our town, we are building something that has never existed before: a community-based theater group powered by donations, volunteer support, and local participation. This grassroots effort is designed to bring people together through live performance, storytelling, and shared experience.
Our very first production will be the play "Rumors" by Neil Simon, a fast-paced, sharp, and wildly entertaining comedy that is the perfect way to launch this new chapter. It is full of chaos, miscommunication, and humor, and reflects the energy of creating something new from the ground up as a community. This is a ticketed production; however, our mission goes far beyond performance. All proceeds will go directly to charity, making every show part of something bigger than the stage itself.
Because this is our first-ever production, we are starting from scratch. We are not backed by a theater company or institutional funding. Every set piece, costume, light, rehearsal space, and detail of production will come from the generosity of people who believe in what we are building together.
Your support will help us cover the essentials that make live theater possible, including performance space rental, set design and materials, costumes and props, lighting and sound equipment needs, licensing rights for the production, and outreach so the community can experience the show. More than that, your contribution helps establish a foundation for ongoing community theater in our town, a space where creativity is shared and art is used to give back.
We believe art should not be a luxury. It should be a shared experience that brings people together, sparks conversation, and creates meaningful impact beyond the stage. This is our beginning, and Rumors is our first step. With your help, we can raise the curtain on something lasting and meaningful for the entire community.
