No Girl Should Miss School Because of Her Period.
Every month, millions of girls are forced to choose between their education and something they cannot control.
This June, I’m taking on a 300km challenge in 28 days — running, Skiierg and rowing 10km every single day, finishing with a 30km walk to represent the 28-day menstrual cycle.
But this is about so much more than a challenge.
Because this is reality.
What I Witnessed in Kenya
I recently travelled to Kenya to volunteer with Positive Life Kenya, and what I saw changed me.
Women and girls are living without access to basic sanitary products.
Instead, they are forced to use:
* Rags
* Mattress stuffing
* Leaves
* Mud
This leads to infection, discomfort, deep embarrassment, and long-term health issues.
Many women don’t leave their homes for days.
Girls miss up to one week of school every month — that’s 3 months of education lost every single year.
All because of something so basic.
I can’t unsee it.
And I can’t ignore it.
The Solution: Positive Flow Kenya
I’ve created a brand-new project to be launched with Positive Life Kenya:
Positive Flow Kenya is a sustainable initiative designed to create long-term change, not just temporary relief.
This project will:
* Provide menstrual health education
* Train women to make reusable sanitary products
* Create income and job opportunities
* Build confidence, dignity, and independence
This isn’t just about products.
It’s about empowerment, education, and breaking cycles of poverty.
My Goal: £15,000
This funding will allow us to:
* Train our first group of women
* Provide materials and equipment
* Launch education programmes within the community
* Begin building a sustainable future for women in Mlolongo
This is just the beginning — but it’s where real change starts.
What Your Donation Can Do: Every contribution matters:
* £10 - Materials for reusable sanitary pads
* £20 - Menstrual health education for girls
* £30 - Tools for a woman to start producing products
* £50 - Training and skill development
* £100+ - Helps launch and grow the entire programme
Why This Matters
For 28 days, I’ll push myself physically, but these women face this reality every single month, for years.
My challenge is temporary, their struggle isn’t.
Please Help Me Make This Count.
I will show up every day for 300km.
But I can’t do this part alone.
Your support can:
* Give girls their education back
* Restore dignity
* Create jobs and independence
* Build something that lasts
Please donate, share, and be part of this mission.
