Dear Family and Friends,
Today, we're coming to ask for your support for the ongoing water crisis globally. While clean water is readily accessible for many of us during this global pandemic, the sad reality is that it is a challenge in a vast number of countries around the world. Not only is clean water necessary to sustain a healthy life, but it should be a core focus for us during this detrimental time to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The Scarcity Project is a newly established organization at UTD aiming to provide scarce resources for underserved populations. With your funding, our organization plans to invest in proven partners who are drilling freshwater wells and constructing other sustainable water projects. One well can provide enough fresh water for numerous families, livestock, and crops. These wells can extract clean water from up to 80 meters below the ground with installed filtration systems. We've chosen this campaign to bring hope to those who may not be as blessed as we are. Water is the most fundamental human need and we believe no one should have to go without it. I encourage you to think of the difference you will be making in those children's and families' lives when donating.
No donation is too small, and we appreciate any help you can give. If you aren't able to donate, please share this with your family and friends. We sincerely appreciate any efforts towards this cause. Every supporter can be a part of the difference one step at a time by learning, acting, and giving.
