At Christmas time, our world changed forever when our beautiful baby girl, Margot, was born sleeping. She had Hypoplastic left heart syndrome or HLHS

In the time of huge heartbreak, we were given something we will always be grateful for the chance to spend precious time with Margot. Thanks to a cuddle cot, we were able to hold her, talk to her, and create memories we will carry with us for the rest of our lives. Those moments meant everything to us as a family.

Sadly, not all parents are given this opportunity. Many hospitals and maternity units don’t have access to a cuddle cot, meaning families facing the loss of a baby may not get that same precious time to say hello and goodbye.

That’s why we want to do something in Margot’s memory.

We are hoping to raise £2,000 to help provide a cuddle cot for families who find themselves in this heartbreaking situation, so they too can have the time and space, to be with their baby.

No parent should have to rush those moments. Every family deserves the chance to hold their child for as long as they need.
