Maria Smedberg MacKinnell was a beautiful and lovely friend, wife, sister, daughter and co-worker...but mostly she was Vendela's mom and best friend.

We lost her so unexpectedly on September 1, 2024.

And now those who loved Maria and love Vendela want to support Vendela and help her navigate the next few years successfully as she grows into the lovely and successful young woman that Maria always dreamed of.

She is now 17 years old, a senior in high school and planning to go to college. There are not a lot of resources or money to fall back on. Right now she is living in Glyndon.
