Raising money for the volunteers at firefly

my names Jodie Oates you may know me for been the crazy hyper lady on social media but I’m always a family women and family means the most, recently I’ve lost my grandad to cancer and my auntie is currently battling it. I’m so greatful for the staff at western park hospital for helping her, nursing her and giving her treatment to beat this awful disease, I can’t cure cancer but what I can do is help raise money for these amazing people. My auntie and mother got chatting the volunteers of firefly while at the hospital for an appointment, they couldn’t give them more credit for the kindness, happy, beautiful souls they have. So I want to give back it’s close to home for me which I can’t lie it will fill my heart because as you can imagine right now life’s been tough but every cloud has a sliver lining. These volunteers at firefly pick cancer patients up around South Yorkshire and take them to there appointments wait for them and take them back home, they are more than happy to be paid by tea and biscuits while they wait for the patients but to me that’s not enough for the amazing work they are doing so if we could raise some money for them that would be amazing and it will give me some enjoyment back in life knowing these people are getting what they deserve.
