On October 12th I’ll be running 42.2km at the Perth Running Festival to raise money for a charity close to my heart, The Milly-Rose Stirrup Foundation.
The charity was created in memory of Milly-Rose Stirrup. A bright, bubbly and beautiful little girl who was too precious for this world and sadly passed away in February 2023.
I had the pleasure of teaching dance to Milly, she began with me as a tiny 3 year old and quickly grew in confidence and character as she started school and grew older. She would arrive in the brightest, most colourful outfits, full of energy ready to show me jumps and cart wheels. Plus a Manchester City fan Milly was a girl after my own heart!
I also worked alongside Milly’s mum, Pip. The love and pride Pip had for Milly was special, it shone through in the wonderful little girl Milly was.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will go towards the incredible work the Milly-Rose Stirrup Foundation does to honour her memory. The link below shows some of the great work the foundation does to support local hospitals.
Thankyou for your support

More information about The Milly-Rose Stirrup Foundation: To provide a more personalised approach to the aftercare given to parents/carers who have lost a child, providing items for bereavement services to use in these last moments parents get to spend with their children after they have passed away. These items will include, but are not limited to, more unique hospital gowns, bedding, cuddle blankets, books for bereavement suites and clothing. We would like to improve bereavement suites, and be involved in the training of professionals in this area.
