Raising money for Lucy Adams House

Hi my name is Elizabeth, I’m taking on a cycling challenge on the 12th-15th of September covering 450 kms over 4 days in the beautiful region of Brittany, France, to raise money for Lucy Adams House, a homeless hostel in Bury St Edmunds where I work. At the hostel, we provide 24-hour support for residents aged 18 to 65, helping them rebuild their lives and move toward independent living. Now, I'm not under any illusion that I'm an avid cyclist—I've done no real training for this! But I’m hoping that I’ll manage to keep up!

The money raised will go directly to supporting our lovely residents and staff, whether it’s funding life skills sessions, purchasing essential items for those who arrive with nothing, providing activities like maintaining an allotment or organising social outings, or even redecorating rooms to create a more homely and welcoming environment. Every penny helps us make a real difference in people’s lives, so thank you for any support you can give!
