I am raising money for one of my best friend's Katie, she is someone who once you’ve met you never forget, she has her very own quirky sense of humour that usually involves a big wooden spoon!

But all joking aside she has recently received the most devastating news, back in December 2022 she got the all clear from her breast cancer battle and was just starting to really get her life back and was grabbing every opportunity that was sent her way, while also raising over £3500 for cancer research in her name.

Only to find out this week that her cancer is back and sadly this time all she can wish for is more time with her boys. Dylan and Callum are who we are wanting to raise this money for so that it gives Katie the freedom to be able to make memories with them and also leave something behind for their futures. So anything at all you can give big or small will be really appreciated.

I like most don’t actually know how we’re going to carry on without her, so can’t even begin to imagine how her boys are feeling. Our thoughts well wishes and prays are with Katie and her family at this time.

A Fundraising night has been arranged by Katie’s family to raise money for this worthy cause

It will be held at the Post office club in Peterborough on the 9th March from 7:30pm until 11:30 pm, tickets are £6.50 for adults and free for children.
