Raising money for cremation expenses

My name is Rebecca Wager and I am making this go fund me to raise money for cremation expenses and any extra income to help my brother and mother adjust to life without our chuck. my dad. our favorite person .

On 7/31 my father was admitted to the ICU unit at Scripps hospital after suffering two strokes . He was found by my mother and my brother and the injuries he sustained were really bad. he needed a ventilator to assist with the breathing and to help the swelling. he was also given sedation to help with any discomfort he was having . After they stopped the sedation my father didn’t wake up and the damage is debilitating. He will need care from a full time facility, a possible tracheostomy, a peg tube for nutrition, and he will be bed ridden for the rest of his life.. but he still needs to show signs that he can wake up and be aware on his own and that has not happened. after talking as a family we agreed that our dad would not want to live the rest of his life that way.

my father was the provider and such an amazing man who would do anything for our family . he worked so hard for over 40 years at scripps to make sure we had everything we need . and this will forever be a hard adjustment for us all. my mother Mattie Wager has huntingtons disease which prevents her from working ever again and my brother , joshua wager, is her caregiver every single day.

this go fund me will go towards cremation services so my mother won’t have to worry about her husband , and anything extra that is raise will go towards my mother and brother while we wait for extra assistance to make sure they keep their apartment together .

as we right this he is still in the icu until my brother and my mother see him. but will update as we know more .
