Myself, Abbie Evanson, Izzy Stone, Ella Ross and Chloe Astin are all going to complete the North Wales Coastal walk. This is will be from Chester to Conwy and will be a total of 60 miles for charity across 2 days. We will completing our challenge over the 7th and 8th of June and will be doing some practice before the big weekend too like partaking in the Whitchurch 10k. Our chosen charities we have chosen to raise money for are Lingen Davies Cancer Fund and Welsh Air Ambulance.

We have chosen to donate to Lingen Davies Cancer Fund to show our support to Mark Winstone and all the Winstone Family. We had the heartbreaking news that Mark has been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and to show our love and gratitude to the amazing family and how strong they have been since receiving the news. If you have had the pleasure of knowing any of the Winstone family like we have, you will know how truly loving and caring the family are and don’t deserve the pain they are going through. We would like to donate half of the money we raise to help others who have also been diagnosed with cancer and families going through the same thing.

The other half of the money we raise we would like to donate to Welsh Air Ambulance. The Welsh Air Ambulance were called on the day our close friend Chloe Astin, tragically lost her brother Ollie, in a road traffic accident. Again, we would like to raise as much money as possible to show our endless love and support to Chloe Astin and all of Ollie’s family and friends. Since the day Ollie passed Chloe and her family have been so strong, and not stopped thinking of Ollie in everything they do. We hope our walk will be a nice tribute to him, as he would always enjoy a long walk with his family.

Again, these are two amazing charities and any donations no matter how small are greatly appreciated.
