This is our beautiful daughter Grace who has a life limiting condition called Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1. She has been approved for a new powered wheelchair but needs to raise £1000 to add a specific adaptation called the ‘riser’. The money raised will allow Grace to have the riser added to her wheelchair which will allow her to independently change the height in order to take part in activities at different heights. This could be as simple as sitting at a table or reaching for her toys on a worktop - something she would have to rely on adult support for if the riser wasn’t included. We would appreciate any form of a donation, no matter how small to give Grace the independence and freedom to explore in her new wheelchair.
