Hey everyone. Firstly I would just like to say thank you for coming to read my sons story

My son is 13 years old in 2022 he lost his dad who he was very close to. They would wake up early and exercise before work and school. When his dad passed away he stopped exercising.

In the summer of 2025 he started asking more questions about his dad, he was exercising more waking up at 6 to exercise for 2 hours in the morning then in the afternoon he would exercise non stop for hours. He would skip meals and somedays not even eat.

On 16th Oct 2025 I booked him a doctors appointment for stomach pains and blood tests. As soon as the doctor looked at him he got sent to hospital

His heart rate was low. Kidneys wasn't functioning he was in a dangerous condition.

He refused to eat and ended up being tube fed which he wasn't happy about he was still loosing weight while In hospital and after daily assessments he was sectioned under the mental health act and force fed as they didnt think he would last long if no action was done

End of November he was offered a placement at a specialist eating disorder clinic which I agreed to straight away. Hes now been moved to Hatfield and likely to be there 6+ months. While he was in hospital I took the month off to be with him.i got no sick pay which has left us in a bad way. He has other brothers and sisters at home. I cam only go visit him at weekends due to work and other kids during the week but as I dont drive its long and costly

I have set this go fund me up to help with travel cost to and from the hospital and at later dates hes aloud weekend home visits and day trips out. I havnt put names or pictures of him in here only because he doesn't want people at his school knowing. I appreciate not alot of people can donate but all I ask is that you can share his story please
