Raising funds to help with Anthony’s treatment

Anthony Williams has given his life to service—he puts everyone’s needs before his own, whether it’s work or family or community. As a matter of fact, in his signature line at work he has a popular Mahatma Gandhi quote “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” He lives this every day!

About two years ago Anthony was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Anthony describes this as one of the most scary times in his life. True to his nature, he thought first of his family—his kids, his grand children, his siblings, his mom and his life partner. “What will happen to them if something happens to me, who will take care of them.” At the time of diagnosis Anthony sought the least invasive treatment (hormone therapy), unfortunately, two years later the doctors realize this treatment wasn’t working. To complicate matters, Anthony’s cancer spread to his lungs. Believe it or not, Anthony still showed up to work every single day—that’s what we mean when we say he’s the epitome of SERVICE! But now, Anthony is forced to take time for himself. He just started Chemotherapy and will need at least 10 sessions over the course of the next 7 months. This is why we are here! We are reaching out to Anthony’s close community of friends and colleagues. While insurance covers a portion of this treatment, there’s a huge gap to cover.
