Raising funds in the name of Dave Chester
Donation protected
Dave Chester lost his life on Thursday 15th May at Bicester Motion - we are devastated by this tragic loss.
This page is set up to show our support for his family and our love & gratitude to Dave.
Those of us who knew him can be assured that this brave and fearless man would have been running towards the incident with the sole intention to help, wherever possible and to minimise risk to others.
Dave was first and foremost a family man, adored by his wife and two sons; an honourable man with deep integrity who would always tell it to you straight. Dave was inherently kind, always willing to go the extra mile for a friend and to see a job done well, with a wicked sense of humour.
Dave truly understood the importance of working hard to achieve goals - a trait he has passed down to his boys.
Dave, you will never be forgotten. You are the very fabric of Bicester Motion, you have been on this journey with us from Bicester Heritage's inception. For anyone that has visited the site, they will have unknowingly benefitted from Dave's workmanship, his skills, dedication, passion for a job well done, his imprint is everywhere and the place will be forever altered with your passing.
Funds raised here are to allow the Specialist businesses on site at Bicester Motion to show their support to the Chester family.
The Specialists on site would like to thank anyone outside of our community who considers donating, be you a Bicester resident, part of our car community or beyond - we thank you and we grieve with you.
Thank you to Daniel Chartrand, who has also set a Go Fund Me page for all the families of those lost and injured that night.
There is also Bicester's RFUC fundraiser for The Fire Fighters Charity in memory of Martyn Sadler and Jennie Logan.
All support is hugely welcome - whichever channel you choose to donate through.
We would like to sincerely thank the incredible and brave emergency services who risk their lives for our safety. We extend our heartfelt condolences to all that have lost loved ones on 15th May and continue to send best wishes to the two firefighters who remain in hospital.
