We are fundraising for You Are Loved CIC.

There is so much love and support within our community, yet we are dying prematurely at alarming rates. You Are Loved CIC was founded to fight this silent epidemic. It creates space for LGBTQ+ people to talk, share and support each other. They signpost their users to existing community and support initiatives through their directory Ask Bobby and provide queer-led, free support where mainstream services are falling short.

Their vision is to live in a world in which being LGBTQ+ does not make us more likely to die prematurely, from suicide or a substance-related death. A world in which stigma and discrimination are eradicated.

You Are Loved is a Community Interest Company (CIC), more commonly referred to as a non-profit organisation. This means that most of the team members are not paid for their work but volunteer their time and expertise to support our cause. They could not do the work we are doing without their core team, volunteers and people in the community fundraising for them.

The organisation was founded by social psychologist & researcher Marc Svensson in 2024. The team is made up of a dynamic group of LGBTQ+ people with a broad set of expertise and experience. Most of the team members volunteer their time as they feel passionately about this mission and have much love for our community.
