Raising funds for the NHS

I am setting up this fund to support a group of people sewing scrubs for NHS and other workers. My mum's friend works in ICU and said they were short on scrubs and after a bit of research have found that there is a nationwide campaign to sew scrubs for the NHS and other workers across the care industry. Hampshire seems to have a lot of people wanting some! 

Having sourced patterns and fabric locally I am hoping with the help of my mum and some lovely friends across Winchester we can get making next week! There are also some other larger sewing groups running who I would love to donate money to.

Each scrub costs around £10-£15 to make, this is just the cost of the material as there are everyone sewing is giving their time for free.

100% of the funds I raise will go to either creating scrubs or other equipment needed or donated into the NHS Covid-19 fundraising pot.

We have now made and delivered lots of scrubs in the Winchester area and continue to support sewing groups across the city and beyond. I have increased the target so that we can try and buy more fabric to keep going.
