Raising funds for more bleed packs

We are The Glen Corner Trust, a South Tyneside based trust established in 2006 after the senseless stabbing of Glen who tragically lost his life on his 16th birthday by protecting a friend.

We work to educate teenagers on the dangers of carrying knives and the consequences that come from using a knife. We also support victims and families who have lost loved ones due to knife crime. So far we have supported almost 30 families at what is the very hardest time in their life.

We carry out fundraising throughout the year to achieve our aims to educate and support. This Christmas time we are launching our campaign to raise funds to purchase two more bleed packs. Thanks to people's generosity last year we were able to purchase four bleed packs which are now located in the grounds of Tyne Coast College - two for each campus. These packs can be used in emergencies to help stop sudden blood loss to anyone who has been fatally stabbed/wounded and may make the difference between someone living or dying. This year we want to try and purchase two more to be placed in our local community. We would appreciate any donation, no matter how small to help us achieve this.
