RAISING FUNDS FOR HEADWAY SECOND CHANCE WAKEFIELD

Hi my name is Siobhan Cooper - Social Impact Manager for RFM Wakefield, we are raising funds for Second Chance Headway Centre, a vital Wakefield-based charity that supports adults living with acquired brain injuries (ABI) or traumatic brain injuries (TBI). As the only full-time brain injury support centre in Yorkshire, Second Chance provides therapy-led day services, rehabilitation, and community outreach to help individuals regain independence and improve their quality of life. Their work includes personalized therapy plans, life skills training, and emotional support for both survivors and their families. Fundraising is essential to sustain these services, which are often underfunded despite the growing need. By supporting Second Chance, RFM Wakefield is helping ensure that individuals facing life-altering brain injuries receive the comprehensive care and support they need to rebuild their lives.
