This year I have set myself the goal of completing the Sydney marathon in August. As many of you who know our family will know, my brother Alistair sadly passed away in 2024. In his memory, I would like to raise funds for the Friends of Oaklands charity who are connected to Oaklands Special school in Edinburgh, where Alistair spent many happy days.

Oaklands School provides a significantly adapted and supportive learning environment for learners with profound and multiple learning disabilities. Alistair thoroughly enjoyed his time attending Oaklands and all of the opportunities provided for him during his life.
