Hi, my name is Vanessa. My family and I created this Foundation in order to assist families in Johannesburg, South Africa where members have been affected by any mental health diagnoses. We have first hand experience of what it can be like for families experiencing this.

This Foundation exists for those who have no/ low income nor resources for access to the ever evolving landscape of treatments and modalities that can significantly improve quality of life for families.

We believe in the power of connection and will offer opportunities for families to reconnect through Equine Therapy at a number of partner centres in Johannesburg, and also offer assistance with alleviating the financial burden of specialised medical and science backed psychiatry, with international partnerships as well as with local doctors.

We are driven to be of service to families who have experienced severe crisis, through a major life disruption and to create a safe and nurturing experience where families can heal and learn to thrive together in the face of these challenges without shame nor guilt.

We are asking for donations or grants towards being able to open applications to such families as soon as possible. Once we have raised sufficient funds (£5 000) we will then be able to register as an official charity in the UK.

No funds will be spent on administration costs at this point.
