Raising for Brooklyn and his family

Hi Guys, we have decided to set this page up to help take some of the financial stress away from Brooklyn family whilst he is poorly in hospital in Birmingham. Brooklyn was born with a dodgy heart and at a few days old underwent major heart surgery but they was told he would always need further surgery when he got older so the time arrived as Brook is now 19 and they needed to replace a valve he’s been stuck in hospital waiting for the surgery for over 8 weeks and has had to deal with so much worry and stress. Finally yesterday he was taken down to theatre for his surgery which they estimated would take around 12 hours but after 19 hours Brooklyn was still in theatre with the family starting to extremely panic. At 4.30am on Wednesday 15th December Kelly was told the surgery hadn’t gone to plan and that Brooklyn was critically ill and placed on a life support whilst they stabilise him and assess his condition. As you can imagine if you was in this situation the family are out of there mind with only 10 days till Christmas and Brooklyn being in Birmingham they need to work but also want to be there as much as physically possible and so we are setting this page up for any contribution you can afford whether it be £1 or more everything £1 will help to get the family free from worrying about needing to work and commuting back and too from prestatyn to Birmingham where his surgery took place.

Over the next few weekends too at The Hideaway in Prestatyn we will be having a ‘Buy Brooklyn a Pint’ which will be £3 and will go straight into a fundraising bucket.

Kelly was worried about me setting this up as doesn’t want to seem like she is begging for help but since having a son I cannot imagine how she is feeling and I can’t imagine having to worry about money at a time when you just want to worry about your son.
