Raising £4000 by 22nd January

As I celebrate my 40th birthday, I would like you to join me in raising the sum of £4000 towards some charities that support children with special needs. I’m hoping to raise £100 each year towards this cause that is very dear to my heart.

 

One of the charities I am looking to raise funds for is ELHAP (Every Life Has a Purpose) https://www.elhap.org.uk/ . ELHAP is a magical and unique charity, that provides adventure play opportunities to disabled and disadvantaged children, young people and adults.

 

ELHAP has been a wealth of support to me and my family in the last 8 years. They provide a safe haven for children with disabilities to keep them occupied and make them feel special. Even throughout the lockdown when they were closed, they sent toys, activity kits to keep the kids busy! Oh, they also always send cards on special occasions.

 

It will be a great joy to be able to give back to this cause and a few other charities that support children with disabilities like Cerebral Palsy Centre in Nigeria https://cpcenter.com.ng/about/ . A non-profit organisation providing services for children with Cerebral Palsy in Nigeria for free. Parents receive services for free and rely solely on support from the community.
