Raise the roof on Alexander House.
Donation protected
Hello, My name is Arthur and recently I lost my 17 year old son Alexander to an unfortunate accident. Alexander was special, as every child is, and he had a kind heart. He would walk down the street and give the jacket off his back to provide warmth to someone in need. Alexander would bring people home who didn't have a place to stay. He would feed them and offer them a place to sleep and shower when needed.
Unfortunately, Alexander suffered from depression as many children and teenagers do today. There seems to be a lack of focus or direction and there compass just doesn't point North. While lying in bed shortly after Alexander had passed away it came to me TheLostandFoundFoundation.org which was to create a home where kids from anywhere in the world could come and disconnect from the outside influences of society. A home where they could connect with nature and their natural surroundings. I guess the Universe had bigger plans for us and now we have become a refuge for unwanted animals, which made me realize they could be useful in animal therapy, providing a space for all. Currently we have adopted 15 chickens, 3 goats with a fourth coming soon, 2 donkeys and several sheep soon to follow as well.
The goal of the organization is to create a safe haven for anyone who is just unsure of where they fit into society. A judgement free zone where you can feel free to express yourself openly.
I purchased a farm in the South of France near the Pyrenees Mountains and working with local farmers and businesses we are looking to expose our lost souls to a simpler way of life immersed by nature and love in a home that seeks to aid them in finding their way back to themselves and society.
This is important to me, and I realize it is the best way I could honor my son Alexander. I can continue to see his beautiful heart and souls' passion come to life.
The funds will be used to replace the roof on the main farmhouse and update the plumbing and electric as well as creating the first of many housing opportunities for individuals to come find their way back. Eventually we will turn the 22,000sq.ft. barn into a dormitory which will create additional rooming options.
There is no cost for the people who stay with us, and the farm will hopefully be self-sustained through its own garden and the charity of local farmers as well as other donations we hope to raise.
Now we need to raise the roof and we can open our hearts to the lost souls looking to find their way. Create a place and space for all to feel at home.
Thank you in advance for any help you can offer us to achieve the goals of Alexander House. We will be posting updates on social media soon and you can follow the progress as we build this house with love and compassion in our hearts.
Thank you from Alexander and his siblings and a special thanks to all those who have stood by me so far to see this dream come true.
If you know someone who would benefit from our home, please contact us through thelostandfoundfoundation.org. The website is under construction, but click on the email link and send us a message. Follow us as we grow and help those broken souls.
Peace, Love and Eternal Gratitude
