Raise the roof for Real Hope (Romania)

Based in Brasov, Romania, Real Hope cares for and supports vulnerable children and adults who have previously been in state care. It has provided a safety net for over 20 boys by providing accommodation, love and support, and by helping develop life and employment skills. The charity has a small farm where the boys live in converted shipping containers. Real Hope plans to build a roof over the containers on the farm to improve the accommodation for the boys by providing them with a communal room. A team of eight from N. Ireland/ Ireland are travelling to Brasov in September 2024 to start the building project and literally ‘raise the roof’. The cost of this building project will be at least £12,000 sterling.
